Liquids are naturally absorbed by the grass root structure which also helps to control any odour. Our boxes are also coated with two layers of water-resistant coating, keeping your box as strong and dry as cardboard can be.
Remember to place the lid of your box underneath the base for extra protection. Once the box begins to loose its firmness, it means the grass has absorbed all the liquid it can and its time for a new Oui Oui Patch. If you would like extra protection, we will be bringing out trays to hold Oui Oui Patches in early 2022. Make sure you sign up to our newsletter to pre-order and save!
In the meantime, our patches would fit in these trays from Amazon:

This depends on the size of your pet, frequency of use, access to sunshine and how frequently you spritz the Oui Oui Patch with water. For small pets (e.g. like Dachshunds, French Bulldogs, cats etc.), we recommend replacing your Oui Oui Patch every 2 weeks. For medium to large pets, we recommend replacing your Oui Oui Patch weekly, (this is our most popular subscription). Monthly patches are for tiny pets or those who will be using the patch infrequently. Switching between plans is easy once you set up an account with us!
As soon as possible! In fact, we are starting to partner with reputable breeders to get them to train their newborn pups on our Oui Oui Patch as early as 3 weeks old. This takes a lot of the stress out of potty training as the dogs automatically know where to go!
How our subscriptions work is that we have 3 options available for purchase, and when you purchase the subscription you are opting into the following: EVERY WEEK - One patch a week, charged and delivered every week. TWO WEEKS - One patch charged and delivered every two weeks. MONTHLY- One patch charged and delivered once every four weeks. Therefore, ordering a quantity of 2 Weekly Oui Oui Patches, means you have bought two subscriptions.
When it arrives, open it up and place the cardboard lid underneath the base. The use a spray bottle to give it a good spritz with water straight away. We suggest spritzing it each morning to give it the best shelf life. Never pour water onto it though as this could make the cardboard box soggy. The goal is to keep the soil under the grass slightly moist at all times. We recommend that you keep the grass in a space where it receives a bit of sunlight. We also recommend picking up any doggie poos just as you would in the park.
Absolutely! Most dogs get the hang of the Oui Oui patch immediately. But for those who don’t, please visit our blog for helpful training tips. Otherwise, email us at help@citydoggo.com and we will ask our training expert for tailored advice.
If your FurBaby is trying to dig in their Oui Oui Patch, try:
-
Observing their use; if they start to dig, say “no” in a firm voice and move them away from the Oui Oui Patch. After a few minutes, return to their Oui Oui Patch and encourage them to relieve themselves. Repeat as required.
-
Providing a fun distraction; digging can often be a sign of boredom, so if you catch them digging, move them away from the Oui Oui Patch and start playing with them (e.g. tug of war or throwing a toy around). As they get involved in this preferred activity, give them lots of praise and treats!
-
Leaving their waste on the digging spots; putting your FurBaby’s poo in the spots where they have dug should act as a deterrent for many pets. Similarly, transferring some of their urine to the patch can help designate the patch as their toilet.
-
Finding an alternative digging spot; if your FurBaby is inclined to dig, then consider making them an acceptable digging spot e.g. a box of fabric or a sandbox on the balcony.
Oui Oui Patches are only delivered to addresses in the UK, Jersey and Guernsey.
No problem! We will leave it outside your door. But if your home is hard to find, please leave detailed instructions via the notification sent to you by DPD. Or email us at help@citydoggo.com, well ahead of delivery.
The patch, sleeve and box are fully biodegradable, so most people can simply put them in their normal refuse. However, if your council separates into garden waste and recyclables, place the patch in the garden waste (usually the green bag) and the cardboard box and sleeve in the recyclables. Please refer to your local council website for more personalised information.

As Oui Oui Patch is perishable, goods cannot be cancelled once your order has been dispatched. However, we can provide a full refund before dispatch. Hot weather, extreme wet weather and cold weather are all elements which affect the aesthetics of the grass. City Doggo will not compensate for any grass that does not look exactly like a photo or grass you have received previously. We will only compensate for grass that has been been subjected to delayed delivery/ damage caused by couriers, which we will assess and deem if it will affect the ability to function as a dog toilet. Please contact us if you have any issues at help@citydoggo.com.
We can only cancel and refund orders up to 24hrs before dispatch, no later. Our cancellation policy requires a minimum of two orders to be placed before cancellation. We would ask that our customers please cancel and edit their subscriptions themselves by logging into their customer portal and selecting the "Manage Your Subscription" option, or view this step-by-step video: https://youtu.be/_htIXNRwGI4 If you are having issues doing so, we will try our best to help.
We grow our grass right here in the UK! By purchasing a Oui Oui Patch, you’re helping to support British agriculture.
To your pet, fake grass is just plastic. So it can be confusing for them and many refuse to use it. Plus, artificial grass requires regular cleaning, including emptying the urine tray and using harsh chemicals to ensure its hygienic and doesn't pose a risk to your pets health. In comparison, every dog loves real grass. Just like in the park, it breaks down urine & odour naturally. Plus, it doesn't require any cleaning!
As a natural product Oui Oui Patch is good for your dog and good for the environment. Oui Oui Patch is 100% biodegradable and it’s packaging is both bio-degradable and recyclable. If disposed of into the garden waste collection, Oui Oui Patch can be transformed into compost. In contrast, puppy pads are not recyclable and take up to 500 years to decompose in landfill. Plus kitty litter isn't much better.
We use DPD for all our deliveries who give our customers a 1hr time window for their deliveries. We recommend you download their app and recommend a 'safe place' for your Patch to be left. Due to COVID 19 there has been some delays in deliveries. If due to these delays, your Oui Oui Patch does not arrive in the condition you would like, please get in touch with us at help@citydoggo.com.
All subscriptions require a minimum of 2 orders before cancelling. However, we do also offer the One Off Trial that is a single purchase with no subscription or minimum order. Feel free to contact us at help@citydoggo.com for specific questions.
Our grass, like all natural plants, is subject to change season to season. During summer months, or during particularly warm periods, the grass may not last as long as it would in wet winter months. This is all dependent on the weather that the farm experiences at the time. During summer, make sure you give the patch extra water and keep it out of direct sunlight to give it the best shelf-life possible.
We would recommend a few drops on lemon juice added to the water you use to maintain your Oui Oui Patch. You could also surround the Oui Oui Patch with mosquito-repelling plants. These common, mosquito-repelling plants are also safe for pets: Basil, Catnip, Lemon balm, Rosemary. However, be sure to avoid toxic plants like geraniums, citronella, peppermint, lavender, some varieties of marigolds, and garlic — all of which can be harmful to animals if eaten.
If you decide that you need your Oui Oui Patch more or less frequently, please cancel the current subscription and resubscribe to the subscription of your choice.
Oui Oui Patch will not automatically toilet train your dog. You will have to put in the work to potty train your puppy. Check out our blog for training tips! We are always happy to help with any training queries or tips, and will do our best to provide you with the best advice we can!
As Oui Oui Patch grass is 100% natural, it will brown with time and use. The grass will arrive at your doorstep as green and fresh as can be, however the colour of grass has no bearing on your dog’s inclination to use it as a toilet. Dogs will relieve themselves on dirt and bark, they don't mind if the grass isn't green. Please remember that Oui Oui Patch is a dog toilet, it is not a pot plant.
We would not recommend placing Oui Oui Patches on indoor wooden floors, as the boxes are not waterproof and may cause damage if the patch becomes too saturated. In early 2022 we will be introducing trays to hold Oui Oui Patches, sign up to our newsletter so we can let you know when they are in stock!
